Since 2009, thousands of professionals have walked through our doors carrying years of fear, shame, and self-doubt around speaking. Top executives who couldn't present to their own teams. Entrepreneurs who avoided pitching investors. Leaders who stayed silent in meetings. They're not hiding anymore. And the confidence they've gained? It didn't just help them at work, it gave them their lives back.

Our Mission

At Yes You Can Speak, our mission is to create a world where every voice feels safe, seen, and deeply heard, guiding you back to the truth of who you are, so you can release fear, trust your voice, and lead from the heart.

What Our Students Say...

Meet Lynn Kirkham

Founder of Yes You Can Speak

There was a time when I couldn't speak up to save my life.

I'm talking about real, body-gripping fear. The kind that made my chest tight, my hands shake, and my voice disappear the moment anyone looked at me.

I was brilliant at my job at Hewlett-Packard. Smart. Capable. But when it came time to present to a group? I literally paid other people to speak for me.

I was the wallflower who stayed quiet to stay safe. I thought if I could just remain invisible, I'd be okay.

But staying small was costing me everything.

My life changed on a sabbatical trip to India, where I cared for 36 orphaned girls for three months who had never been allowed to speak their truth. When I saw this, it literally felt like it broke my heart. And during my time with these precious girls, I decided to dedicate my life to helping them and others find their voice. The only problem was that I hadn’t yet found mine.

Two weeks after I returned home, Bill Englehart, an amazing speaker and leader, invited me to speak to 400 people about my leap of faith journey around the world and the girls at the orphanage. My immediate answer was “thank you, but no. I’m afraid I’ll have a panic attack, forget everything on stage, and be a total embarrassment to you.” Bill looked me straight in the eyes and said, “You are meant to be on my stage. I’ll be by your side every step of the way.” In that moment, a light switch turned on inside of me. I thought, if he can believe in me so much, then maybe I could, too.

I did the work. The deep, uncomfortable, soul-level work. I used the decades of personal development tools in my toolbox. I became a Toastmasters President. I learned how to calm my nervous system, heal old wounds, and trust that my voice was safe, even when it shook.

And slowly, everything changed.

I went from hiding in the back of the room to leading rooms of over 1,000 people.

Because I finally came home to myself.

Now? I help high-achieving professionals do the same; release the fear that's been keeping them small, rewire their nervous system for safety, and step into the kind of grounded, authentic confidence that doesn't need to be performed.

Here's what I know about you:

You're not "bad at speaking." You're just carrying something that no longer serves you, and once we clear it, your voice will rise naturally.

My gift is seeing people and continuing to see them until they see themselves. I call out strengths they didn’t know they had. And I create a space so safe, they finally feel free to be fully seen.

You already have everything inside you to access your authentic voice.

You just need someone who believes in you enough to help you remember.

Whether it's an interview, a high-stakes meeting, a stage in front of thousands, or even a family dinner, I'm here to help you stop shrinking and start shining.

Let's unlock the voice that's been waiting.
