Inventor Jo Dee Tribelhorn had lost, dropped, scratched and broken numerous pairs of eyeglasses. The COST, FRUSTRATION, and TIME LOST in trying to find or replace her glasses was substantial over the years. Indeed there are different cases and storage options for eyewear, but none that met the need for secure instant accessibility needing only one hand to engage the eyeglasses both on and off the device.
The Vision:
Jo Dee searched for a product that could serve her needs and found nothing on the market of quality, adaptability, or ease of use. She envisioned the need for a device that was adaptable, sturdy, transferable, aesthetic, simple and accommodating for all types and sizes of eyeglasses in any setting. She researched the needs of others and the material and application options. Starting with just a piece of wire hanger, she created what she wanted….and the SpectaClip was born!
The Invention:
Over 4 years of research and product development went into what has now become a simple to use clip which can adapt to any application. Using a state of the art specialty wire and physics, Jo Dee invented a product that is high in quality, simple, adaptable, and easy to use.
The Possibilities:
Use of the SpectaClip will allow instant access and security to not only sunglasses, but to reading glasses, prescription eyeglasses, and safety glasses. The uses are truly endless!
