Depart from your prefered airport to Nairobi, Kenya. Airport code NBO.
You’ll arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your first look at the beautiful colors and culture of Kenya. After customs, immigration and baggage collection, we will make our way towards the airport exit.Our special tour guides will be in the waiting area with a Soul Safari paging board so that you can find them (we will be hard to miss).Overnight in Nairobi.
Let's go love on some Ellies!
Witness the tender care of rescued baby elephants and learn about conservation efforts. Sketch, take photos, and observe the personalities of these gentle giants.
After loving on the ellies, we will go head to Nairobi National Park to find some of our first wild animals. Keep an eye out for zebras, impala, Egyptian geese, oh and a rhino or two or three or more!
Did you know that Nairobi is the only capital city found inside a National Park?
Reflect on our first wildlife encounters through a simple drawing or painting of a favorite animal from the day.
Kitengela Glass, pioneers in Kenyan glass will be hosting us in a unique experience of glass making arts and accomodations.Located near Nairobi you will enjoy the workshop, cottages, cafe and wildlife. All while immersing into this one of a kind opportunity for hands on art making.
After lunch explore the workshop of Kazuri Beads. Work with local artisans, shaping and painting handmade beads. Made from the clay of Mt. Kenya, each bead, figurine, plate and cup are made by hand.Enjoy learning from the female artisans and then make your own special pieces to take back home.

Drawing inspiration from the baby elephants, rhinos, and other wildlife we’ve seen, we will hand-build animal sculptures in the sacred clay of Mt. Kenya.
Focus on gesture, emotion, and the essence of each animal as we translate our experiences into clay.
Journey from Nairobi across the Great Rift Valley to Lake Naivasha.
A guided Salt Bowl Release Ceremony —writing down fears, doubts, or creative blocks. Calling in what you would like to experience more of in this next cycle. As well as infusing your special blend from the salt bowl to carry home with you.

Capture the peace of Lake Naivasha in your daily drawing session.
After another soul good Kenyan breakfast of fresh fruits, eggs, mandazi, tea and tropical juices we will go out on a walking safari.
We will take a short boat ride across Lake Naivasha to Cresent Island. Where it is often easy to find, ostrich, dik dik (smallest antelope), hippos, zebra, giraffe, wildebeest, impala, pelicans, fish eagles, water buck and a bevy of birds.
Work on small clay sculptures or sketchbook studies, capturing the essence of the land and animals around us.

Stroll through Kenya’s famous rose farms, learning about the beauty and symbolism of these fragrant blooms.
Sink into mineral-rich waters at the Olkaria Geothermal pools, letting the earth’s healing energy nourish your body and soul.

Let's go see the Maasai! The most famous tribe in Kenya. They are the real warriors. Keep an eye out for the vivid colors in their shukas (wraps and blankets) brilliant beadwork and loads of livestock.They still practice their traditions and keep their ancient culture alive.
Evening Clay & Drawing Session, Inspired by the Maasai’s artwork and their connection to the land, create a new sculptural piece or painting.Including their wisdom about the earth, animals, herbs, trees and stars.
Pay It Forward Friday includes gifting our Safepads workshop to local girls, moms, and midwives in the area. As well as filling up the water tanks at the schools.Being of service is one of the fastest ways to shift your abundance energy. Simple solutions to complex challenges facing communities after the long droughts. Today will also support you in welcoming the infinity of giving and receiving.
Today we will make our way to one of the most desired travel locations in the world the Masai Mara. You will be welcomed by the Maasai Warriors and Women at a fully working traditional village. The Maasai tribe are one of the most remote tribes left on the planet who still practice their ancient traditions on a daily basis.
Rise and Shine it is SAFARI time! We get up early for breakfast so we can get out and find the Big 5: elephants, lions, rhinos, leopards, and buffalo. We will also be on the lookout for cheetahs, zebra, giraffe, hippos, elan, baboons, storks, gazelle, impala, waterbuck and oh so much more! Make sure your camera is charged, batteries loaded and you have an extra SD card.

Inspired by the landscape, begin your final clay or mixed-media piece—a tangible memory of your time in Kenya.
It is day 2 of The Lion King LIVE. Let's go find more of the most magnificent animals on the planet in their natural environment. We will harness this energy to learn ways to manifest this next season in your journey. Especially while we are in the presence of the Kings of the Jungle and the wonderful Lionesses that rule.
Farewell to the Land of Inspiration, as we carry the Creative Fire home. Leave with newfound artistic inspiration, cherished memories, and a heart full of adventure.

Yes! You will have access to wifi internet access every day. Some locations will be stronger than others. We will go over recommendations for options during our travel trainings.
There is a good selection of international cuisine, including vegetarian choices. Fresh fruits, tasty desserts, and hot beverages are readily available. Breakfast portions are ample, with plenty of coffee and tea. At times when we are in the field or enroute, we will bring boxed lunches with us for a picnic. Depending on the lodge, meals may be buffet or plated.
We find that people tend to really fall in love with the varieties of Kenyans fresh foods.
Kenya requires an etA, (an electronic travel authorization) prior to arrival. We will walk you through the simple application process. The fee is around $40 USD and usually takes approximately 2 business days for approval.
A current passport valid for up to 6 months after the return date of your trip is needed to travel most anywhere in the world.
No way, no how. We are all women of a certain age, and a great night's sleep is imperative! Plus, no one wants to be crawling in or out of a tent in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom.

Yes, we will be in luxury tents when we are on the Masai Mara on the safari portion of your adventure. However, the have wood floors, comfy beds, flushing toilets inside, and deliciously warm showers. Glamping at its finest!

Can I have my own room?
Some guests are worried about snoring, sharing a bathroom or having a roommate. No worries. If you prefer a single room all to yourself, just reach out. There are a total of three single supplementations available for an additional $1500 USD for the entirety of the Soul Safari. This is first come, first serve. Once they are booked, we will only have double/sharing accommodations available.
